Founder and Facilitator
Tukairangi Maxwell is a passionate advocate of his Maori culture and traditions and has travelled extensively throughout the world to share Haka, Waiata and Te Ao Maori to all.
A business graduate drawing from over 10 years experience within, corporate sales, customer service, workshop facilitation, education sector and the film industry, he has turned his passion for people into a workshop experience that aims to build connection and authentic communication between people.
The Haka, an experience that harnesses the raw energy and ancient dance of the ancestors, a sacred preparation ritual that for millenia has energized and united warriors before great challenges.
This practice is still relevant to today and perhaps is needed more than ever in this modern age to remind us all of our authenticity and no matter where you come from, we are all descendants of survivors and warriors and thus have a purpose and a story to share with one another.
In Maori culture we have "Whanaungatanga" a concept of interconnectiveness. Through connection comes trust, through trust comes bravery and loyalty to one another which lets true deep communication exist and flourish.
Now, a new resident to Norway, Tukairangi moved to his wife's hometown of Stavanger to raise their family, and he comes with hopes to help organizations to unlock their full potential allowing to work openly and cohesively.

Tukairangi is passionate about sharing Haka and helping bridge cultures to mutual benefit, creating new insights and opportunity. A worldview that is also cemented in his family, having children who will be both proud of their Norwegian heritage and their Maori warrior culture.
At hakaworkshop.no we hope to share this gift with all in Norway and finally, to the world.
